As m'y post Said, most consoles were sold out for their second week, but that doesnt change thé fact that is always thé same that first week > second week> Third week> fourth week > etc until the week of à Big release( Mario kart here) and manufacturers know that.

That was true for 3DS, ps4, Vita, all thé consoles from february/march( less true for WiiU for thé Third/fourth week thanks to Christmas ) and that will bé true for Switch.

They give stock according to thé demand, so when you kkow thé market After years of looking at launches, you know that if they gave this much its Because they knew it wouldnt have sold much more, better to give just enough that to give Bad impression that there are a lot of stock left for thé first weeks

Do they, though? Sony sure didn't with ps4 being sold out for months. Ninty could possibly be facing similar problems especially considering how much stock they allocated in places like Europe where it even beat the ps4 (in some countries). I think they don't have much stock in Japan because of that.

Only talking about Japanese market here, they wouldnt Want to give less than whats nécessary in Japan.

Trust me, its the same thing at every Japanese  launch on this period, sold out then WE believe thé sales will increase when thé stock will Côme but they dont every time, then After thé fourth week of sales going down , Nintendo not giving more than whats nécessary , people will bélieve they have to keep stock beczuse they cant get enough for Mario kart release so they will really believe that even thé second/third week of april thé sales will bé what they are beczuse of supply problems. Its liké people forget how are Japanese launches

We live this at every launch( PSV,3DS,PS4), people who dont understand thé console will sell Bad until it gets à constant flow of releases.

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m
