We laugh but there was probably a few people still using this who got into it and it will be pretty shit news for them, just because it might not be the game which appeals to you in particular don't think that a games service being shut down doesn't at least effect a small number of players who enjoyed it quite badly.
Also think of it like this, if the service closes down and you never used it yourself you will miss out forever on the opportunity to see how it worked in the future so those who had played this will have that over you forever as a gaming achievement! Damn casuals... not having known the joys of Wii-U Karaoke!!
