It broke the metacritic record for the most perfect scores of any game ever. Metacritic is the largest aggrigate of games reviews in the world. In what universe would that not be a safe assumption? Do you think it's even remotely likely that another game will get more perfect scores in the next 9 months? Are my expectations too low? Also, who ever said "all?" Most is the assumption, and it's a wise one for a game with literal record breaking critical reception.

If we're guiding ourselves wirh Metacritic now... days ago, the game was sitting at 98 and on the top 3 on that site IIRC. Now, it's down to 97 and went down to number 15. And who knows? If Zelda got 98, what's not to say another game might get a high score too and take the GOTYs? Or what if they still get most GOTYs with a lower metascore? Like I said, at this point, it's still unwise to say Zelda will get all the GOTYs. After all, there's nine months left.

And record breaking won't necesarily equal to immediate GOTYs.
