I too am playing on Wii U. I too love the game. And, I too think the framerate problems are unacceptable. Like, down right ridiculous for 2017.
I've never been one to complain about Nintendo's lack of powerful hardware. But, this game is really making me rethink that. Nintendo produces incredible games. I'd love to see what they could do with cutting edge hardware.
Its not just the framerate issues. Overall, I'd say BotW is equal graphically to a very early XB360 or PS3 game. I want better than that. Its not an issue with many Nintendo franchises. But, it is with Zelda and Xenoblade.
