I have disliked it more and more over time. I tried to convince myself it was good to justify buying it, but it was crap when all said and done.

The console was weak, the controller was only just about comfortable enough to use, the plastic made it feel like a toy. The only hardware credit I would give it is that it worked without problem the whole way through as Nintendo systems always seem to do

Software was poor in the end too. It is an exclusive only console and I don't think there was enough, and too many of the games it had disappointed. It's launch had two decent games in Zombi U and Mario U, but they were 7/10 games. 6 months until Lego Undercover, and that wasn't the last of the empty periods. It had a few great games, Mario 3D World, MK8, Bayonetta 2, and several good ones, like Pikmin 3, Captain Toad, Xenoblade. Some games I enjoyed but were ultimately disappointing: I loved Splatoon's concept, and enjoyed the single player mode and Turf War, but the modes they added after weren't great and conncetion problems got worse. Mario Maker was good for a while but 99% of levels are autorunners, stupidly difficult or just plain bad. I haven't even turned my Wii U one for a year.

The console as a whole I would give a 3/10. The worst console I have ever bought. Good riddance to it honestly, long live Switch
