well people's main criticism of P4 Golden was the crappy dungeons, and the game still got a 93. That seems to have been greatly improved now, so we should hopefully be looking at a very high score. Maybe ecen second best of the year behind Zelda

You have to take in consideration P4 was already a proven great game from a solid niche franchise, and P4 Golden was an improved version launched exclusively for the Vita, that lacked critical hits and had a niche appeal, thus it gathered more atention inside the platform but still next to no click baiting. It hit the jackpot.

P5 is coming of a much more popular and higher background now, and on the leading platform of the generation, a much stronger platform both on capability and reach, it has a lot more eyes upon it, a lot more room for criticism for having a niche appeal and sadly a lot more chance of click baiting or unprepated reviewers picking it up.

P5 gladly looks like an amazing game and that it'll be recognized as such, but it just won't have nowhere near as easier of a time as P4G had.

Perhaps, but it does at least seem to have progressed forward in some ways, so hopefully reviewers can't claim the franchise is stagnant. But your points are correct, it will have more scrutiny this time

Would be a shame if there were clickbait reviews, but it is a possibility. I still fancy it to get 90+ meta though
