What graphics mode should I choose for Horizon?

That's what I don't understand.  does SSAA mean more things pop up in game and appear on screen? How exactly does it work.

But what graphical performances does it enhance.  I don't remember ever hearing. 

I would personally go for PS4 Pro @ 1080p but the difference is subtle (look at the shadows & fog in the middle section)
