When the WiiU came out, it was broadly lambasted in certain quarters for not having a standard 1080p 60fps, although Nintendo generally did an admiral job from the outset of prioritising 60fps. When the Xbox1 and PS4 came out with a host of sub 1080p games at 30fps those same quarters were deafeningly quiet

My perspective:I love me a good frame rate but to be honest the dips in Zelda just aren't frequent enough to bother me.

It certainly is obvious in the opening scene, which is unfortunate, and you do notice it from time to time, usually in long grass, but I can't say it's impacted gameplay for me. It will be nice if they can patch it, but play it and make up your own mind rather than losing it by listening to the hype, half of whom haven't actually played it and are just playing the predictable, new-generation downplay game.
