Ryzen is looking great. Two Core2Quad Intel rigs at home that need replacing and back to AMD they will be going. Athlon 64 was my first build ever, and a great one at that. ATI Radeon 9800. Great memories.
I think Ryzen has more to offer than what we see now. AMD needed to show they could go toe to toe with Intel again, and do it for cheaper, and they've done just that. They would be making a huge mistake if they've pushed Ryzen to hard this early, leaving the door open for Intel to slowly creep away with better and better results. For the next couple of years anyway, things should be interesting in the x86 CPU industry.

As for Scorpio, AMD did mention that Ryzen mobile is on track for the second half of 2017. If Scorpio is going to have a Ryzen based APU, its going to be a semi custom mobile version. Whether it ends up Ryzen or not is highly debatable. There are so many possibilities depending on which direction XB goes, that we just can't know until they tell us, or it leaks.
