TL;DR
yes, the switch doesn't have a jam packed launch. However, as games steadily flow out, we begin to accumulate more users.
When Holiday season comes, we will see a very solid lineup of games. Mario will be coming as well. When 3d land came go the 3ds, sales exploded. That was in november. Mario coming to a new console during the holidays will launch the Switch onto a successful road.
