Regaurdless of whether Switch is portable or not, it is absolutly the tech that will be in the next full portable that Nintendo releases. Switch is built on mobile tech, thru and thru. The next handheld will run on either a 10nm or 7nm version of the Switch SOC. It would only make since that all Switch games run on all future Nintendo mobile and home devices. 

The whole industry is shifting to one purchase runs on every device. If you buy a PlayStation game you will have rights to play on PS4, PS4 Pro, PS Handheld, PS Phone, and any other form factor running Sony's PS Chip set and OS. If you buy a Nintendo game it will run on Switch, Switch XL, Switch Mini, and whatever else Nintendo puts out with their chip set and OS. If you buy from Microsoft you will be able to play on Surface Phone, Surface Pro, Surface Book, Xbox/Surface TV, and PC. 

I have zero doubt in my mind that the next main line Pokemon will be on Switch.

 

Back to Amazon sales. I wonder when PSVR is supposed to come back in stock. Sony went out of their way to make a PS Blog post about new VR World Bundles, and an exclusive Until Dawn Gamestop bundle, but still no new stock. They really need to get the PSVR and PS4 Pro stock situation under control. With Resident Evil out, and Farpoint and Ace Combat coming soon, they need PSVR to be available. On the Pro side we have a massive slew of titles that just hit, and huge games like Horizan, Mass Effect, and MLB The Show which are going to really show off the Pro. They have the whole 1080p+ and 60fps market to themselves for the next ~6 months, they need to grab as many users as they can before things heat up.
