I personally am fine with playing them on my TV via Wii U Virtual Console, but still, playing on a portable versus playing on a big screen TV are totally different ball games as far as resolution goes.

Emulating GBA games on a TV... It doesn't look as crisp as SNES emulation due to the lower resolution either, even if the GBA was able to do more and better effects.

Yeah; comparing F-Zero on the SNES to Maximum Velocity/GP Legend on the GBA, the latter games do have nicer vehicle sprites and effects, but a noisier image. As a retro gamer though, I'm still able to tolerate the GBA's 160p, even on my HDTV.
