I'm perfectly fine getting it, as nintendo has fixed a lot of the mistakes they made with the Wii U. Also, portability is great.

Am I disappointed with the Wii  u? Yes; in all honesty, I think nintendo should've gone with a simple but powerful console to get 40m units, and then go on to the switch. The Wii U felt like a premature switch that wasn't ready to be released.

That's a pretty good description of the Wii U actually; it felt like a kind of half-arsed Switch made before the technology was there yet to do it properly.

The main thing that pissed me off with Wii U was the game droughts, and I'm not yet reassured that this won't be a problem with Switch; it's first year is looking a bit sparse.

Don't forget that the ps4 didn't have 50 games for launch either. Be patient, let nintendo draw their cards, and then be ready for the release of games steadily. Nintendo released everything in 2014 and it hit them hard. With the amount of IP's that have no game announced yet, I don't think there's a cause for concern
