Yea, okay, so lets see the Sony fans come out in droves and defend Sony selling a piece of plastic that holds the system vertical for basically $30

The Ninendo Switch Dock comes with an AC adapter that costs 30 plus an hdmi cable.
And like I mentioned in my controller thread, USB-C HDMI powered docks aren't cheap either.

So, the fact that Nintendo also overcharges for its AC adapter means that it isn't overcharging for the dock. The AC adapter and HDMI cable cost Nintendo a maximum of $2 combined. As for the USB-C to HDMI, these adapters cost as little as $13, probably less.

And I can't imagine that adding support for the HDMI port, and charging capabilities adds significant expense. I wouldn't be suprised at all if the total cost to manufacture the dock for Nintendo was less than $15.
