Like you said, they said it to justify the price, because normally a handheld is a lot cheaper than a home console. They decided to sell it at the same price as other home consoles, they decided to call it a home console, they can't have a prefered treatment and be excused for its shortcomings as a home system.

You can't pick and chose and twist reality just to serve your opinion on the system. It's not how it works

I understand your point that Nintendo called it a home console so it should be but they can say what they want, they're not fooling anyone but themselves to make them feel better about justifying the NS at that price.

And ultimately what it comes down to is how the consumers sees it, and seems like majority sees it as a portable console with tv connectivity.  Nintendo isn't the best at making the consumers see eye to eye, but at least this is better than when numerous consumers thought the Wii U was just an updated Wii.

 

I agree, but to ask people not to compare it to the Xbox One and the PS4, when Nintendo goes out their way to make sure people do, is completely ridiculous.

I didn't create the stupid situation the Switch is in, Nintendo did.
