I know it's a handheld, I've been calling it a handheld since the Eurogamer Leak in july.

But if Nintendo decides to call it a home console, and market it as one, then it has to be compared with the other home consoles, it has to be compared with the WiiU, the PS4 and the Xbox One.

Like you said, they said it to justify the price, because normally a handheld is a lot cheaper than a home console. They decided to sell it at the same price as other home consoles, they decided to call it a home console, they can't have a prefered treatment and be excused for its shortcomings as a home system.

You can't pick and chose and twist reality just to serve your opinion on the system. It's not how it works

It seems to be how it works since you still call it a handheld...

Oh boy, you are a slow one aren't you?

ok, I'm going to explain again, with smaller words and more details.

-It is built like a handheld, the components are the ones you find in a handheld.

-From a technological point it is a handheld

-BUT, Nintendo decided to call it a home console, to sell it the price of a home console

-So it will compete in the home console market

-if it competes in the home console market, it has to be compared with other home consoles

I didn't pick and chose, Nintendo did, the consequences that resulted are their own damn fault.

If Nintendo wants the Switch to be a handheld, then they should release a proper home console and call the Switch a Handheld. Then the Switch won't have to compete against the PS4 and Xbox One.
