Wrong. New technology should have more features than previous generations. It's bad enough that consoles barely evolve so we simply cannot and should not support consoles that are trying to go backwards.

A lot of features have been added to consoles only because of strong demands by customers. So telling people to stop demanding more features is counter productive.

But the Switch does have a lot of new features. It's a hybrid console, has HD rumble, the Joy-Cons with all their tech inside, improved motion control and comes with two controllers out of the box. That's not a lack of new features, it's an overabundance. What if I value those features over a headphone jack on my controller or a more powerful system?

I get where you're coming from but this is not a case of better or worse. Sony Microsoft and Nintendo are just going in different directions.
