We are not creating a successor to the 3DS right now...

Yep, that means the so-called "4DS" would be at least 3-4 years away if it ever even happens. 

If you want something like that you are simply going to have to realistically wait and hope Nintendo releases a smaller version of the current Switch and learn to like it. 3DS successor isn't coming any time soon.
