PS4/XB1 will still sell 170-180 million this generation likely no matter what, so no directional change in the market will really happen.
Even with the Wii, it sold 100 million but PS3 + 360 sold 165+ million which is basically the same as the PS2 + XBox, they just had a different split of the market between the two of them.
