The Nintendo faithful will always remain devout. Of course some question if they're truly 'hardcore', but this group helped Nintendo survive the lean GameCube years.
I think it's funny that so many 'hardcore' gamers are threatened by motion controls. As developers and gamers get used to this new control method, I think games will ultimately be better because of them in the long term. (Of course there are times where motion controls may not be better and hopefully developers will see those instances and not try to force them on the masses.)
Numbers are like people. Torture them enough and you can get them to say anything you want.
