So finally saw "your name" and I gotta say I loved it.

The animation was gorgeous and all the characters were very likeable. The movie really shines after the 1st half an hour, that's where the buildup leads to and the real ordeal comes in and becomes a roller coaster of emotions between the dual protagonists. I was glued to my screen the entire time watching this film and can see myself watching it again, even though I barely rewatch movies.

At first view what happens is a pretty common concept for a movie, but the writing and directing definetly shows how you can turn something we've seen before and give it new life to feel like something new and refreshing. Would totally recommend to anyone wanting to watch an anime movie, whether casual or someone who watches anime in general.

Yeah the idea seems very common, but the way they execute it felt very unique. Did you happen to watch it in the cinemas? Cause it was my first time watching an anime on a HUGE screen and awesome sound system. I think that made it even more better.
