Yes, and the Switch is significantly less powerful, so Nintendo would have to compromise even more, and many are arguing the compromise would bring it to an unacceptable level.

Really? So my childhood gameboy with its 1.9" wide screen has a higher PPI than my iPhone 6's 4.7" screen? I'm pretty sure that's not true. It's like PPI isn't dependant on screen size either.

If your phone has comparable native resolution, then it is so.

Yes, it might be so bad. This also depends on what the games would be like, as others have pointed out. I'm not sure if it makes sense to have a VR version of RE7, but a Crash Bandicoot might be a better idea considering the performance.

No of course it doesn't. Because screen size does not have a direct relationship with PPI. But here's the part you haven't quite clued in on. Screen size, resolution and PPI are all variable. Not all 6" screens have the same resolution or PPI. Not all 24" screens have the same resolution or PPI. Not all 50" screens have the same resolution or PPI. A 50" screen can have a higher PPI than a 6" screen. A 24" screen can have a higher resolution than a 50" screen. It's all variable. There is no direct relationship between screen size, resolution and PPI.

I think what you've been trying to say is that you prefer a 32" 1080p screen over a 50" 1080p screen because it has a higher PPI and thus the image looks nicer. to you But that isn't the point you're actually arguing.
