The PSVR is what it is, as you need to keep in mind that PS4 isn't actually very powerful device, so they had a lot to compromise. I'm not sure if it's that bad when you consider the circumstances.
I know some people that liked the cardboard and smartphones (or the headstrap model), while some others I know liked the PSVR. I really don't see the virtual reality having a sustainable market, it's something that seems to pop out every ten years in different forms of entertainment. Virtual Boy was released at the height of VR craze in the 90's, and no doubt we are currently experiencing the VR craze of 2010's - though, not quite like we had in the 90's.
Bigger screen does not equal higher native resolution, but the smaller the screen, higher the resolution in pixels per inch. One of the reasons I've isually opted for 28 or 32 inch TV's.

Yes, and the Switch is significantly less powerful, so Nintendo would have to compromise even more, and many are arguing the compromise would bring it to an unacceptable level.
Really? So my childhood gameboy with its 1.9" wide screen has a higher PPI than my iPhone 6's 4.7" screen? I'm pretty sure that's not true. It's like PPI isn't dependant on screen size either.

If your phone has comparable native resolution, then it is so.
Yes, it might be so bad. This also depends on what the games would be like, as others have pointed out. I'm not sure if it makes sense to have a VR version of RE7, but a Crash Bandicoot might be a better idea considering the performance.
