Jeez such a downer on a harmless game haha. It'll probably do decent in Japan as it's a game for parties and they don't mind the quirkiness of these things. Plus the Japanese appear to commute a lot so it'll be something to do while being in a karaoke bar or something when meeting people or hanging out with friends who want to do something that isn't taken seriously.

My concern is for Switch itself. It is critical that it succeeds, and advertising one of its key games a title that recalls the very worst of the Wii/Kinect era isn't helpful. A lot of people will be turned off the system if they see this and think Switch is going to be gimmick focussed.
