That's pretty logic considering the hardware inside the last two Nintendo home consoles and the Switch. The gap with the PS and Xbox consoles is huge and every third party game will be inferior on a Nintendo console compared to same gen PS and Xbox cinsoles (except non demanding games like rayman legends). So people will buy them on other consoles. Besides the core Nintendo fanbase just wants to play Nintendo exclusives. Even Assassins Creed 4 didn't sell well on the Wii U well it was not a half asset port.
