But Reggie giving that parental control BS in rebuttal to Matpat is was terrible. He didn't even address the question... I'll wait until E3 to judge Reggie's 3rd party support claims. |
I'm not a fan of giving out participation awards for risk taking, specially when it does not pay off, like the Wii U. Now the Wii deserves praise for sure, a risk that paid off in spades.
It's easy to say "Sony and MS just care about graphics and powerz" but that power and affordable price compared to dedicated PC gives power to their studios to push out those experience that are unique to their brand. Sure, there's no "innovative" controls but the game itself IS the unique experience. The gameplay, the story, the sounds and the art direction that previous consoles could not handle, based on the talents of their respective studios. What stops Nintendo from making BotW on a PS4 or pc? Literally nothing, they totally could but obviously they need it to sell their consoles in the hopes that those buyers will also pick up the motion Controller games.
