I think the only way Sony sells it's Playstation division(s) is if they're being parted out. It's easily what gives the most recognition in recent years. Microsoft doesn't give a fuck, they were only ever in it to try to sell more PCs. They've apparently lost billions over the years on the Xbox brand (but may have recouped most of that back in recent years). Nintendo? It's all Nintendo is really. They won't sell off their video game operations ever, but you might see them pivot away from making consoles.
