But these are already proven to have far less bacteria than our chickens and at the same time only contain a tiny amount of rest chlorine that is not only harmless in that concentration, but also far lower than what your body absorbs during a swim in a pool.
It's just a tool used by critics to persuade the masses because chemicals sounds automatically bad.
The funny thing is, here in Europe people act like we have such high standards and TTIP will only lower them, but at the same time people in the US think that our standards are lower (and of course they are in some fields). So I guess no one has these "high quality standards" you're talking about.
