And there's a reason for it: as long as they make more money per game sold on PS4 and X1 than they do on Switch (lower royalties, cheaper medium), they have no interest in porting a PS4 game on Switch - that is until the port is so late it doesn't compete with the PS4/X1/PC version of the game, because otherwise each game sold on Switch instead of other platforms, would mean potential loss in their revenue. However, for the same reasons, if your game gets popular on Switch, porting it quickly makes sense, as each game sold on PS4/X1/PC instead of Switch would just increase their revenue.
