I would take back the Wii U launch window third party support any day over this, lol. Zombi U, COD, Tekken Tag, Assassin's Creed, NBA 2K, and sure late ports of things like Mass Effect, Need for Speed, and Batman Arkham ... but at least those were decent games.
Switch has better Nintendo 1st party stuff and not as much mini-game crap (did we really need Nintendo Land AND Wii Party U AND Game & Wario AND Mario & Sonic Olympics AND Wii Fit U AND Sing Party in the Wii U's first year?) from Nintendo, but the third party support is definitely worse.
