Not to be rude or anything, but no one cares for Metroid.
Seems like it'll join Punch-Out and others as IP's that may get revived, but will probably stay dead for the time being.
I think Punch-Out and Metroid seem very fitting, especially with joycons. Think about it...what do both games feature? Two arms. Joy sticks can make the gameplay very exciting and show the power of the Switch.
