Well, logic dictates that if the Wii had a $50 price reduction the sales would = THE SAME. It's already sold out everywhere (at least in the US, don't know about elsewhere), so a price cut would be worthless.
It can't sell more, if it already is sold out everywhere. Nintendo's biggest concern needs to be producing MORE Nintendo's.
