So basically if the Switch has the userbase big enough and people actually buy the third party games on their Switch then third parties will keep on supporting it.

Just as easily they could estimate that the money spend on a port woud be better used for more marketing the PS4 and others versions.

And this way their devs are better utilized rather then spending time on whats already expected to be a weak seller.  

This. 100% this. It's not just about making a profit, it's about generating the most profit from their investment. if it's more profitable to not invest in Nintendo Switch games, they won't.
