Nintendo abandoned Gamecube just as quickly they abandoned Wii U.

I have a Wii U, and if this means Nintendo will be back on track making good games, I say good riddance.

No, the point wasn't graphics didn't matter. Just that the games do. Other than better graphics, having a HDMI output would reduce the lag of your TV, that could be a real game killer. I had my SD widescreen as long as possible because of playing on Wii.

I don't know if the analogy is truly direct: the GC was the best system (by perfomance), when it launched. The WiiU was far from the best, and Nintendo knew that. If you're checking in underpowered, it is incumbent upon you to ensure that value proposition is otherwise maintained (a la the Wii).

For the record, Nintendo has always made good games.

But so was Wii U. Wii U's a little underpowered compared to PS4 and X1, but at it's release it was more powerful system.

The games on Wii U haven't really been good.

Ei Kiinasti.

Eikä Japanisti.

Vaan pannaan jalalla koreasti.

Nintendo games sell only on Nintendo system.
