Yeah. I don't think the media outlets are normal people or normal gamers. There don't seem to be that many people that have actually played the games, not to mention people who have played them beyond the first impression.

Well, why not tell me then where can I find this praise. By looking at the real world, nobody seems to care about Wii U, and by looking at the message boards, nobody seems to care about Wii U. Yet, it's supposed to have insanely good games that everybody likes.
There was Starfox and Splatoon, and if I recall, quite a few other games was using the controller as a mandatory controller, at least for multiplayer.
And what might the articles be? Are they made by the Wii crowd or who? I'm personally in the Wii crowd - just like many of my friends - and I really don't see how the free games on mobile would appeal to the Wii crowd in general. Yeah, the mobile games are free but that's just about it. It's not the waste of money were talking about, but waste of time. The soccer moms that were playing Wii Fit to get fit, which games they are now playing on mobile to get fit? Why would Angry Birds appeal to them, but not Splatoon? If there are 3 billion Angry Birds downloads, what's the point in making games like Call of Duty, as COD obviously don't sell the amount of Angry Birds downloads. And, how do you play games like Wii Sports on mobile?
The industry AAA games are not good enough for the Wii audience. We demand better.
