Eurogamer: Did Nintendo download a Mario ROM and sell it back to us?

The argument made in the video isn't particularly strong simply for the fact that they only sourced Mario as having this done to it. If this were really true, I would imagine that this would apply to most, if not all, Nintendo VC games.
