After the announcement, I went to Scalebound videos to see what people thought about it. It was mildly positive. Now, everyone so pissed because "This was the game that was going to make me buy an Xbox One". Either that or I see comments from other fanbases laughing at other's misfortunes. I was hurt when Silent Hills was cancelled but it wasn't the end of the world. Neither is this. |
Pretty much. In reality, not that many people cared. I doubt it would've even sold a million lifetime, which is only a fraction of the X1 userbase and pretty much in line with other efforts by MS regarding new IPs.
I thought it looked interesting and was kinda hyped, but I've seen far too few of it to make a better judgment. Platinum Games can make tremendous games, but also lots of stuff in the 70s (Metascore). It surely would have been a good addition to the library, but wouldn't have covered the costs in the end.
