From what we've seen long term .... no.

3DS and Wii U both had huge problems priced at $250 or more.

The problem is without developer support the appeal of software that they have is limited, and that limits what they can get away with charging for.

I do appreciate that Switch doesn't look like some cheap Fisher Price piece of crap though.
