Well 2.5 to 6.5 hours so its on par with the 3DS which people didnt mind for the most part, plus external battery packs are always an option but its your opinion.

I've never had a game on 3DS last me three hours, and I play at maximum brightness (though with the save battery life option on). Likewise, I absolutely despised the 3DS battery life, but at least I could do some workarounds to squeeze a bit more of energy.

Telling me to buy more things (on top of Switch's expensive price already) just to make an atrocious battery last longer isn't a solution. It's giving Nintendo a free pass for an absolutely atrocious battery.

Battery life has not come a long way for any product thats why alot of people already own external battery packs for their phones, its enough cheap for the most part but I dont think Nintendo could of improved the battery life if they wanted to, I'm sure they put the highest milliamp they cram into it with such little space to work with but the power consumption it needs to run those high quality graphics has to be a lot.
