Of course I did. They said that the original game had a total of 48 tracks. So with this they draw the conclusion that there are no new tracks included in this game. Because I specifically said "new" tracks.

Just had to make sure I understood, because I assumed you may have made a mistake somewhere, but you are essentially worrying about a scenario that is highly unlikely to happen.

No, it won't affect me personally. Although that's only because I didn't actually play the game I bought, which in any normal situation, I would have. I asked how others who owned and played MK8 feel about it.

Ok I see. Thanks for clearing this up especially. This was hurting my head.

"Either I buy it or I don't"?
Yeah, it's why you would or wouldn't buy it that's the focus here. Lack of new tracks for old players of MK8 is certainly a plausible turnoff.

I don't care what other ports other people have defended in any other topic. If that's a chip on your shoulder then take it up with them. This is a question I'm posing, because it relates to me and I'm genuinely interested in how others feel.
Adding new characters to Ultra Street Fighter 2 is an incentive for old players to double dip. In MK8's case, the tracks are the main gamechanging components.

That's the thing, it's so inconsequential either way. If you got the game and played all the DLC, it's basically a decision over a whim. If you really are addicted to the game, or want to play it anywhere, or are really interested in the battle mode, go for it. Otherwise don't; I care so little I would leave it up to a coin flip. Not my first time.

Its not about the defense of any particular thread; I bring it up to bring a question to you without asking it: "is it really that big of a deal that a game that contains all the DLC of the previous games, increases resolution, revamps the biggest qualm people have with the previous version and adds new characters?"
