So you're saying that articles from Polygon/Forbes/TheKoalition/etc are better at determing what the general thinks rather than comments from the general public on Facebook/Twitter/Youtube/etc?

Yes!  Don't treat self selective mediums as a way to poll the general public.  The general public isn't in your friend circle, hasn't watched the video as much as Nintendo fans, or tweeted about it.

Articles are not perfect, but if you do an unbiased it's at least going to tell you more than the other forms.
