IF the Switch is a "hit" it will be because people are swapping out their 3DS for them. It will certainly not be because of the same rudimentary motion controls they've been offering since 2006.
The issue the Switch may run into is that they haven't done much to convince anyone who doesn't already want a Nintendo system to buy a Switch. And the price is going to make it a difficult sell as a handheld.
