a lot felt like it was missing. I think it was natural to expect, especially with how lackluster Wii U support has been in the last 2 years or so, for Nintendo to have been working on a LOT of software for the Switch.
I don't think it would be wrong to expect that Nintendo would announce a number of launch titles, and possibly unveil that they were developing titles for some of the franchises they have mega neglected as of recent generations (Metroid, F Zero, Animal Crossing (overhaul), reinvention of something like Wave Race, etc.)
I also think, considering how much Nintendo seemed to have been hyping the Switch, that they would ensnare SOME sort of surprise third party exclusive. Or even just get a third party to agree to put their game on the Switch that might otherwise be a surprise, like Square Enix and Kingdom Hearts 3. I mean Nintendo is a big company, I don't understand how or why they haven't moneyhatted some sort of special third party exclusive, it makes zero sense
So in the end its a combination of overall lacking announced titles AND a lack of announces LAUNCH titles. I think most people expected a lot more in terms of titles. I guess we can hope that more gets unveiled soon, but based on how Nintendo has already updated their Youtube and the Nintendo site quite a bit I get the feeling that there aren't really a lot more hidden secrets with it in terms of immediate software :/
