I just got in, did Sony not win December?

Sounds like they are down year over year though, whereas MS is up year over year for December. That means they closed the gap. To be honest Sony should be blowing MS away and be way up this year with a new model, a new redesign, and $250 ... it seems to me like MS is seriously slowing hte PS4 down in the US by becoming more competetive.

The thing about MS kinda spin.... is that it tells us absolutely nothing. MS may be up YOY by 10k and sony could be down YOY by 10k and MS statement would still be true but yet a completely different picture.

And are we now forgetting all those bundles that many were saying would give MS the win? Or are we going to pretend that the XB1 wasnt also similarly priced?

And by closed the gap you are only talking about the last half of the year right? Cause if we look at the entire year, the gap increased by around 300k. But yh, lets just pretend that only in NA all that matters is the last 6 months of the year.

Sony being down even 10k is really poor IMO. They have a new hardware model (PS4 Pro), they have a new revision (PS4 Slim), AND they have a $250 promo revision for December.

If they are down, clearly something is happening and it looks like that "something" is that XBox One is becoming far more competetive, taking away sales from the PS4, because there's no way the PS4 should be down this year with all that going for it.
