Since the DS days, Nintendo has fought a rather intense fight against R4 cartridges and other means of piracy. The DS was incredibly easy to hack and play pirated games through this system, and the 3DS continued with the same issues, albeit less obvious due to frequent system updates. With the Switch confirmed as a cartridge based system, and possibly unifying the hardware bussiness of Nintendo, how long do you think it's going to take for these hardware manufacturers to come up with a new R4 cartridge for the Switch?

And will it be worth it this time around? The DS games were minuscule, so you could have 20-30 on a 16 gb SD card without problem, and a symilar number with 3DS games. But Switch games are going to be even bigger, so you might find yourself spending more money on the SD cards than on the games.

You know it deserves the GOTY.
