wii was a shovelware monster, official support dropped off years before it was actually superceded, there were at best a handful of half decent titles in it's entire lifetime, that isn't quality, not at all.

The other two were plauged with hardware defects and shoddy ports, both forrayed into pointless and wasteful motion control nonsense (psmove / kinect).

Last gen was terrible.

Well, yes, the shovelware comes with the success. Wii did have more great games than all the other home consoles launched since 2000 combined.
