Ugh. Sometimes gamers are the worst.

"People don't like my preferred video game brand because they're biased!"

Enough. It's arrogant, and whiny, and far too prevalent on gaming forums.

Will 100% of hate against Nintendo vanish after the reveal event? Of course not. But if they address enough people's concerns about the Switch the direction of the company in general then we will absolutely see a positive shift in the way people look at Nintendo.

Yeah, because everybody that doesn't share your opinion is retarted. I'll refer you to my earlier post ^

Grow up.

I read the OP as "how will people hate on Nintendo after the Switch reveal". I'm sorry you mistook me for being ignorant.

People irrationally hate on Playstation, Xbox and PC - even while those are all excellent, successful platforms. Why would that be any different for Nintendo?

Listen - people can have preferences that line up differently than others. They can have a perfectly rational reasons to say "No, that's not for me".  People can change their mind too. People like that just don't go about whining about/hating other gaming companies.

However - fanboys are a fact of life in the gaming world. Simple as that. Companies can get practically everything right and gamers will whine about it. I mean you said it yourself: Gamers like to whine about things. Quite often about platforms, games, and companies they already have nothing to do with.

Truth be told: it does not bother me what people preferences and biases are or even what they think of me or some other fanbase. But I recounted what I figured true Nintendo-hate would look like in the Switch era. The truth is: it won't be that much different than it is now.

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016
