That's why I always said the Switch can't be the only answer to the decline of japanese market

The thing is, why is there anything to do against it in the first place? The dedicated console market may be declining but on the other end the mobile market is booming. If dedicated consoles can't keep up with the convenience of smartphones then that's it. Deserved death I would say.

Because the quality of games on mobile is utter shit.

it's not about the disappearance of hardware, but the disappearance of great games. But IMO, Nintendo hasn't been great in the last 10 years anyway.
