Better question .... which Nintendo game sold 3 million+ WW and *did not* get a sequel?
I honestly can't think of any. Maybe Nintendo Land I guess, but that's only because it was force bundled with the Wii U.
Mario Maker ... like Mario Kart or Paper Mario, is a new Mario-themed Nintendo franchise. That's just all there is to it. There's going to be *many* more Mario Maker games unless the next one flops.
Mario Maker on Nintendo Switch is just a question of "when?", not "if".
