That rumour isn't going to make a difference. We know roughly how powerful it will be already and the consequences that will come of it, confirming that it's +/- 20% won't change anything.
Power will be an issue for the Switch, but it's far from its biggest one. I haven't been around for the past year or so, so I'm sure this has been discussed to death.
